TNI Bureau: The Android Jelly Bean update for the existing Wammy series of Wickedleak Inc. will hit in September this year according to the company. After the update, it would be the maiden endeavor to introduce the latest version of the Android OS Jelly Bean in India.
Presently there are three versions of the Wammy series of tablets are available in the market in India for Rs 5,249 onwards. They are – The Wammy 7, Wammy Ethos and Wammy Plus.

As per the company the update will occur over the air and so there is no need of downloading the ROM or connecting to a PC. Just a user needs to enable his internet connection on the tab and follow the procedure.
“The Jelly Bean update for the existing Wammy users will be available in the last week of September. Users will be able to update their tablet over the air (no need to connect to PC) shortly after the updated tablet starts shipping to the users,” the release said.
All the versions of the Wammy series tablets are currently equipped with ICS OS (Android 4.0) that would be updated to the latest Android OS Jelly Bean in September.
