Petrol Prices hiked by Rs 1.55 Per Litre

Taking the excuse of fall of Rupee against the US Dollar, the oil companies have yet again increased the petrol prices by Rs 1.55 per litre – the fourth increase in six weeks. If we include VAT, the petrol will be costlier by around Rs 2 per litre.

The petrol price hike will take effect from midnight today. Earlier, the oil companies had increased the petrol prices by 75 paise on June 1, Rs 2 per litre on June 16 and Rs 1.82 per litre on June 29.
