TNI Bureau: After suspending former “BJD Strategist” Pyari Mohan Mohapara from BJD, Odisha Chief Minister slammed his long-time friend and called him as a “Thief at Midnight”.

Naveen revealed that he was shocked and disgusted to know that Pyari Mohapatra was indulged in a midnight operation to oust him from power. He further said only a thief enters somebody’s house when that person is away and Pyari did the same, as he attempted the coup when he (Naveen) was away in London.

Naveen’s strong response came after Pyari Mohan Mohapatra called him a ‘traitor’ after the suspension. Pyari had alleged that Naveen did not anything for the BJD and that only he (Pyari) took the party to the highest level in Odisha.

However, Naveen dismissed these claims and said Pyari had joined the BJD only in 2003, while the BJD was formed in 1997 and came to power in 1999.
