Kochi ODI: Dhoni, Jadeja power India to 285/6

TNI Bureau: Skipper MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja played explosive innings towards the end to help India score 285/6 in 50 overs in the second ODI against England in Kochi. India scored 108 runs in the last overs. The duo added 96 off 60 balls for the sixth wicket.

Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat first. Openers Gautam Gambhir and Ajinkya Rahane were out cheaply. Kohli (37) and Yuvraj (32). Suresh Raina played a good innings of 55. Dhoni scored 72 off 66 balls with 7 boundaries and 2 sixes.

Ravindra Jadeja remained unbeaten on 61 off 37 balls. He hit 8 boundaries and 2 sixes. For England, Steven Finn and Jade Dernbach took two wickets each.
