IPL 6: Hyderabad beat Bangalore in Super Over

The IPL match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) provided wholesome entertainment to the viewers last night. The match first ended in a Tie and then went to an exciting Super Over. Hyderabad had the last laugh, thanks to Cameron White’s cameo.

RCB scored 130/8 in 20 overs. Kohli made 46, while Moises Henriques scored 44. Ishant Sharma took three wickets. Chasing a victory target of 131, Hyderabad finished at 130/7 in 20 overs, making it the first TIE of IPL 6. Akshath Reddy (23) and Hanuma Vihari (44*) were the top scorers. Unadkat and Henriques took two wickets each.

In the Super Over, Hyderabad scored 20/0. But, Gayle and Kohli failed to surpass that score, as RCB finished at 15/0 in the end. Hanuma Vihari was declared ‘Man of the Match’. It was the second consecutive victory for the Hyderabad team in IPL 6.
