Egypt brokers Ceasefire in Gaza Strip

TNI Bureau: In a significant development last night, Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr announced a ceasefire in Gaza Strip after making Israel and Palestine agree to stop the strikes at each other.

The development took place after US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton arrived in Cairo and held talks with Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and others. As per the agreement, Israel will stop all strikes in Gaza. In return, Palestinian groups would stop all aggressive action on Israel from the Gaza Strip.

The crossing points between Israel and Palestine will be opened and there will be a free movement of individuals and goods. Egypt will monitor the ceasefire agreement and will step in if there is any important developments from either side.
