CBI director Ranjit Sinha filed two-page affidavit on the direction of the apex court today. The affidavit contradicts the claim made by CBI counsel, who argued that the report was not shared with any minister.

The affidavit says that the coal scam report prepared by the CBI was shared with law minister as per his request prior to its submission before the apex court. It was also shared with one joint secretary level officer each of Prime Minister’s office and ministry of coal.
